The next ScienceComm will take place with a Call for Participation at the University of St.Gallen, SQUARE, on 3 and 4 September 2025.

ScienceComm25 is all about «Attention! Engage!». In an era where information and opinions are abundant, capturing and maintaining attention is a challenge faced not only by marketers, politicians and media but also by science communicators. In competing for the public’s focus, science communication faces unique challenges: how do we capture attention without compromising integrity, foster understanding across divides, and create compelling narratives from complex knowledge? The ability to communicate science effectively is critical – not just to inform but also to engage, inspire, and build trust with diverse audiences.

The Call for Participation was open until the end of March and currently the program is being compiled.

ScienceComm fosters an exchange of experiences between the three linguistic and cultural regions. The annual congress is a platform for professional dialogue and focuses on networking, interaction and participation. We want to get to know each other and learn from each other. In doing so, we hope to promote values such as sustainability, justice, diversity and inclusion.
