Display map on Google MapsThe General Assembly of the Swiss Society for Meteorology (SSM) and its annual symposium will take place on Friday, 21 November 2025, from 12:15 to 18:00 in the CHN building of ETH Zürich.

We are happy to announce presentations by Oliver Fuhrer (MeteoSchweiz), Jürg Zogg (SRF Meteo), and Nadine Salzmann (WSL-Institut für Schnee- und Lawinenforschung SLF). In addition, Master students from different Swiss universities have the possibility to present the status of their master thesis to small groups of listeners. Each round of talks will last about 10 minutes and the audience is invited to learn more about the different projects, ask questions, and give the students some tips in this informal setting. Please indicate your contribution at the online registration.
