Online Workshop: Science communication strategies for climate change research

This workshop will bring together communication experts who will share knowledge from their experiences in a range of European climate research projects. It will be discussed how to enhance the usability and relevance of their project outputs for their target audiences, and which strategies they have found successful to engage different audiences as well as those difficult to reach or overlooked.
The workshop is organised by the Horizon Europe climate action project MAGICA (Maximizing the synergy of European research Governance and Innovation for Climate Action). One of the project’s aims is to improve access to scientific knowledge on adaptation to climate change, for policy, practice, and society. We do this by analysing knowledge uptake issues and learning from experiences of the Research & Innovation community involved in projects funded by the European Commission (EC)and by JPI Climate member states.
