ProClim- / OcCC / BUWAL Forum - The IPCC Third Assessment Report

19 March 2001 in Bern

Venue

Bern

This Forum reviews the latest findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which will be published in the Third Assessment Report to be approved formally in March 2001. The Forum provides a unique opportunity for scientists, government officials, politicians, the media and the public to inform themselves on the state of knowledge with regard to climate change science, impacts and response strategies. It will be a comprehensive and up-to-date assessment of the policy-relevant scientific, technical and socio-economic dimensions of climate change, will concentrate on new findings since 1995 and pay greater attention to the regional (in addition to the global) scale.
