From February 2020, Oliver Inderwildi will be the new head of ProClim – Forum for Climate and Global Change of the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT).
As a theoretical chemist, Oliver Inderwildi holds a doctorate in emissions reduction and postgraduate degrees in economics, politics and business administration. He gained wide-ranging research experience in Cambridge, Oxford and at the National University of Singapore. He has been active in scientific policy consulting for 10 years, e. g. in collaboration with Sir David King in England and at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, New York and Davos. Oliver Inderwildi is the author and editor of several books and white papers including a portfolio of scientific articles on emissions reduction and climate change.
Oliver Inderwildi will succeed Karin Ammon, who heads the Science and Policy Division. ProClim is part of this division. SCNAT is looking forward to the cooperation with Oliver Inderwildi, who will complement the competent team of ProClim especially in the energy sector.
