Current Challenges in Plant Breeding 2025 - Bandwagons, we too, have seen - promises and breakthroughs in plant breeding
The annual seminar of the SGPW-SSA working group plant breeding (Current Challenges in Plant Breeding) will take place on 22.1.2025 at ETH Zurich (Center) on the topic "Bandwagons, we too, have seen - promises and breakthroughs in plant breeding". As every year, students and doctoral students of ETH Agricultural Sciences will present and discuss their views on the topic together with national and international experts. The opening keynote will be given by Rex Bernardo (University of Minnesota), who, as a long-standing professor of plant breeding and genetics, has dealt intensively with the promises and achievements of new breeding technologies.
